The journal of The Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia published an article I wrote, “Get Organized… and Enjoy More Time.” in their Summer 2010 edition (Vol. 19 No. 2).

Keep everything… provided you have the space to store it, and you can find it when you need it. Therein lies the challenge.

Whether you are a piler, a filer, or a stuffer, you may be running out of space. Especially in this electronic age, our access to information in many formats has resulted in our desks, computers, and minds becoming stuffed to capacity. In fact, we crowd ourselves out physically, and the number of interruptions from email, voice mail, and postal mail causes stress. The topics I highlight in this article are:

  1. Prioritization
  2. Paper and Information Management
  3. The Decide in 5 Decision Making Model
  4. Intentions and Follow-Through
  5. Saying No vs Saying Yes
