This year I was honoured with the Harold Taylor Award at the Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) Conference on November 5th, 2016.

The Harold Taylor Award recognizes and honours an organizer who makes significant contributions to POC and to the organizing industry as a whole; including media exposure, mentoring, teaching and volunteering.

With the judging tied in 2016, both my dear colleague and co-nominee, Soraiya Kara and I received this prestigious award.  I am very proud and feel privileged to receive such recognition from my peers.

As a business owner and volunteer at the Chapter level and National Board for POC for many years, I have found it incredibly rewarding to help develop and grow the Professional Organizing profession.  Also, I have enjoyed guiding and supporting my colleagues through the years, whether they are new to the industry or veterans in the field.

2016-11-06-06-50-40Thank you all for the endorsement and for allowing me to pursue my passion.
